The lock knob on my Garmin XERO X1i interferes with my cocking rope. What can I do?
The lock knob is provided to ensure the correct torque is applied to lock the scope to its mount. It snaps over when the proper torque is applied. If you wish to remove the lock knob, you may acquire the replacement lock screw by contacting Garmin Product Support. However, please know that the proper 12 inch-pounds of torque must be used to tighten the mount feature of the scope to lock the optics for consistent, accurate shooting.
